Taking over Charlotte’s care
Thank you so much for your notes of encouragement and your prayers. Charlotte is doing well, and– an exciting development for us– Darren has been allowed to live in the hospital and take over all of Charlotte’s care for the next ten days; both to gain experience and to demonstrate that he is able to do it.
Please pray for this time; that he would have strength and grace; and for the final outcome, that Charlotte would be able to come home soon.

Keep your cool, Darren. Be really, really sweet to the nurses and doctors. Now is the time to impress them, not antagonize them. I say this, because he’s understandably not pleased with these guys and has previously tried to get them investigated by the police, sometimes for understandable reasons. But still, unfortunately, they have all the power cards right now.
