Keep going. It's been a long struggle, and we really feel for you. Praise God that she is healthy. I am really praying that someone will be sacked or something and someone with compassion take over the case, because it seems ridiculous that she is not allowed home to her father. It is clearly more than a battle against flesh and blood.

Take care,
Hilary.

We will pray for him, Hannah, and thanks for continuing to update.

I was rather disappointed to see Michelle Malkin reporting on Charlotte's "being released to foster care" as a good ending. The truth is we just don't _know_ whether it will turn out well for Charlotte, though we hope and pray it will. It can't be best (though I'm sure social services thinks it is) for her to be in a state of informational blackout with no one who loves her most able to know and talk about what is happening to her.

As for Darren and Debbie, it's obviously not best. Even if social services were sure they had reason not to give either Darren or Debbie present custody, they should give them regular updates on Charlotte's health and well-being and chances to see her. And they could work with them to try to restore the chance for one or both of them to have custody.

I'm so sorry that Darren was without all of the children this Christmas. Surely he has a right to see the other children?
