I just found this website.

Touching, so touching. She's your own child, she should have a right to the person who brought her to this world.

I am disabled myself, not severly I'll admit, and grew up with Aspbergers. I do find myself battling day to day with contant pains and fainting, for a disease that was never diagnosed when I was younger and I've had all my life, no one believed me and all my tests showed up nothing.

So I know some of the pain, not all, for she surely must have a lot more-- but she is still worth prayers for the little angel she is, for the gift of Life she has been granted and may hope it is never taken away, for she has deserved it and proved she is meant to be in it.

Bless her delicate soul, may a good life be ahead of her.

I haven't forgotten you. I miss all the photos and videos of Charlotte. I wonder how big she is now. From what I saw in the video of her (from a few years ago), she was not a vegetable but a child interested and interacting with her surroundings. In a country like the US or Canada, she'd probabaly be recieving special education and early intervention services. Often switchs (buttons that activate toys or speak) are used with children like Charlotte for play and communication. Even if she never walks or talks, she could still live a happy life in a world adapted for her. I would not prolong treatment for a child that is terminally ill and suffering (i.e. terminal cancer). but Charlotte is neither terminally ill nor suffering. She is just developmentally delayed and requires supports for feeding and oxygen. I hope she gets to go back with her family.

Are her parents still separated? Has either of them been allowed to see her since February? Do they have any reports of her health?
